In our science sessions we explore and formulate many curiosity questions. We answer them after a thorough observation process of the elements that we find in our surroundings. For that purpose we use a digital microscope.
In our last sessions, we observed the food we provide for our pets, specifically the blend we feed our turtles with. We have learned that turtles are omnivorous and feed on animal protein and plants. In addition, we have also been able to observe its shell. The shell is one of the parts of the turtle’s skeleton, and both its spine and ribs are attached to it. For this reason, the turtle cannot separate from its shell.
Using the digital microscope proved a highly enriching experience and was special to us. We look forward to repeating the experience in the upcoming classes.
